London’s calling!

It’s been a while since I’ve wrote a post…

Anyhow, week I will be off to London for my birthday!

One of the dresses I will be packing is this basic ‘skater’ dress…

Rosewood Basic Jersey Skater Dress

New Look, £11.99

This is one of my favourites, I love the shape and how it fits.

The simplicity means it can be dressed up or down for any occasion.

Add a slim belt to highlight your waist, heels and tights for an evening out or some ballet pumps and a denim jacket for a casual outfit. And, if the colour isn’t one of your favourite, there are quiet a few to choose from, including the classic LBD.

Jubilee Celebrations

Hey, haven’t posted for quite a while. But anyway…
I brought these sunnies thinking they’d be great for the jubilee.

New look, £4.99

Typical of UK weather, it has been raining for the past few days. I’m hoping it’ll pick up pretty soon.

Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday.

Torn up T-shirts

Am I the only one who feels the need to cut up tees? Especially, round necks…

I cut up one of my band tees as the neck and sleeves just seemed to irritate me in this heat.

But, it’s just oversized bands tees (as most come in mens sizes) and bar crawl tees that are ok to take to with a pair of scissors, making headband and bracelets with the remaining fabric.

If it’s done properly it can reinvent a tired looking tee. But, mostly it’s just a bit of fun.

But, on that note I hope you’re enjoying the weather. I think I’ll be looking into the art of T-shirt revival.

That’s a wrap!

After trying out nail wraps for the first time, I’m surprised to say I’m happy with the results.

Usually, I mess things up with nail art, especially on the first try. But, apart from some gaps at the tip where I filed too close, they look pretty impressive.

I chose some pop leopard print wraps from ASDA, £4 just to try them out. However, I am more then happy with the results.

There are quite a few prints to choose from and in the range you can have nail files, phone cases, headphones…

Get crafty this Summer and find a great alternative to spending.

I love creating jewellery and it is such a great feeling to be complimented on something you’ve designed yourself.

Here’s one of my favourite pieces I’ve made myself!

So why not give it a try. Who knows you might have a natural talent for it!
